Our Council celebrated our 25th Anniversary event in April 17, 2012. Members including most of the past grand knights and some of the original founding members, joined with special guests to celebrate 25 years of helping out in our community. This was a well-attended event with some food and good company where the past Grand Knights were awarded mementos for their services.

The affair was preceded by a celebratory mass complete with color guards from our council members.

Link here to view the 25th ANNIVERSARY record of the event. The regular meeting ensued and nominations were taken for the next set of officers come June. The cake was a hit and Don Stacey wore a lot of it on his sleeves.

We look forward to serving our community for the next 25 years!!!

3rd Degree Exemplification at 5860
October 30, 2011
Five candidates from our council went through the exemplification among thirty participants. The Order is dedicated to the principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism. Upon reaching the Third Degree, a gentleman is considered a full member. The third degree is the highest degree a Knights of Columbus member can obtain. The fourth degree is a separate honor and is not higher than the third degree. A member must be a third degree Knight before becoming a fourth degree however.

A mass was celebrated to pay homage to our brothers that have gone before us. All the celebrants, from the priest Fr. Michael Downey who just received his third degree earlier this year, were members of the Order.

Dear Knights of Columbus,
June 4, 2011

Wow! Talk about dedication and superb service! You did an amazing job directing traffic and welcoming people in to the church for the Anointing of the Sick Mass on Saturday June 4 . “That was quite a storm" I have enclosed a picture and it looks like it was taken late at night.

Thank you for the outstanding job you did.

Thank you, too, for the very generous donation of $200 to offset the cost of the boutonnières which were given to all those who had requested the Sacrament of the Sick at that mass.

We are so blessed to have such an active and generous K of C Council at this parish.

God bless you for all the good works you do in this community

Keep Christ in Christmas
In a time when all things religious are being discouraged and swept away, it’s refreshing to know that the Order established the “Keep Christ in Christmas” campaign to remind people that Christmas is above all a holy day celebrating the birth of Christ.
Keeping Christ in Christmas is keeping the very heart and meaning of the Christmas celebration alive. To celebrate the birth of the Son of God, the Supreme Council offers the some suggestions you can use to help in keeping Christ in Christmas.
