The 2006 PBA season is once again underway to a 12-week schedule at the Delta High School Gym. Every Sunday is a havoc of
activity in all the three gyms being used and of course Lolit’s array of Filipino Foods in the cafeteria is the focal
point. The continued supports of the team sponsors are very much appreciated and the bingo funds that have made it possible
to stage our winter league from year to year.
The PBA opening ceremony this year was another success story. The guest speaker Joanne Savoie a Hamilton Police Recruiting
Officer, impressed those present evident by a very good response at the Police information booth. A squad of Filipino policemen
is probably in the near future?
