2005 CARIGARA FIESTA CELEBRATION IN LAS VEGAS

Dear Fellow Carigaran-on,

Maupay nga Patron haiyo ngatanan!

Once again, we, the residents of Las Vegas area, would like to invite everybody to our annual mass and celebration of our beloved town's Patron, the" Triumph of the Holy Cross" . We will be holding this year's festivities on Saturday, July 2, 2005 at the Fiesta Hotel and Casino, in Henderson, NV. The enclosed flyer will tell you the time, location and phone numbers of contact persons. Also, we have enclosed your tickets and RSVP request. If you need more tickets, please call any of the contact person and we will gladly reserve one for you.

Last year's celebration was one of the most successful gathering of Carigaran-on's ever held. We had over three hundred visitors and guest that attended our festivities. However, we encountered some logistical problem, especially on the "reservation of seats". This happened because few of our guest did not respond to our plea for "RSVP". Some also decided to go at the last minute, without regard to the reservation. Please let's not make this happen again this time. We would like to accommodate as many as we can, but we need to have a reasonable count. Please take into consideration also that we have to make a reservation (Buffet Meal) with the Hotel establishment for each person that plans to attend, and pay for that meal. We need your "RSVP" with your check or money order no later than May 15, 2005. As your host, we will take every step to keep this celebration memorable for everyone.

Again, we would like you to take this opportunity to visit our beautiful city at the same time meet with our fellow Carigaran-on during this festive occasion. Let me also remind everybody that this is 4th of July weekend, so please make your reservation early.

Sunday, February 8, 2004 Lets celebrate our 2005 Fiesta in Carigara I have received several requests to encourage Kalgaranons living here in the Western Continent and other parts of the world to celebrate our towns Fiesta once again in our beloved Carigara in the year 2005. A lot of good will benefit our town if we spend our Fiesta monies with our relatives there. It would be exactly 10 years since our successful quadra-centennial celebration there, that the people who approached me think it is a wonderful idea and a very good excuse to visit the old homeland. There is still more than a year to the appointed date, so we would like to solicit your opinion on this matter. This BLOG thing is the best avenue where we could spread this information to most Kalgaranon's as fast and efficient as possible. This is set up so that anyone can express their views and influence others by expressing their opinions in their own words. Whether you are interested in this proposal or not we would like to hear from you anyways. As a Kalgaranon you are entitled to speak out. Let us hear your views, say hi to your town mates. Use this site to communicate with long lost relative or friends. God Bless.
