Topic: A SPECIAL REPORT

In just one and a half days, with the combined use of military and police force, ala martial law, the buildings at the public market were demolished despite vehement objection of the market occupants and concerned citizens.  Mayor Anlie Apostol, with the assistance of her Congresswoman mother, is bent on replacing all the buildings at the public market to be financed by still unreleased P46.5 Million loan from the Landbank.

Carigaranos would not object if this amount were to be used to construct additional market stalls in vacant spaces at the market site rather than replace existing buildings constructed during the last fifty years which are still in good and tenantable conditions.

The motive is clear - to erase all previous landmarks and claim the "to be" constructed market as their own accomplishment - but Carigaranos to pay the loan.

We are appealing to all Carigaranos, wherever they are, to unite and prevent/stop this self-centered, wicked and malicious plan of the Apostols.

Plain ang simple "corruption" case.

Policemen and military men has nothing to do with the main issue there. They were there just to ensure safety that no bloodshed will occur. It just appeared that they were there to impose authority to the poor victims and viewers because of their status as soldiers and policemen. They were actually doing their jobs but misinterpreted as imposing power.

Now, how did it happen na bigla na lang gagawin na yung project? Kasi malinis na lahat sa loob with the proper bidding (kuno) para it appeared na legal ang process nila. Actually, it was legal. It un

i'm sorry kasi napindot ko accidentally yung "submit" kaya medyo putol ang kwento ko.

anyway, as i was saying... "it appeared that this type of corruption is legal because it underwent the usual process of bidding and all the necessary papers." that is why they continue making the project.

the only concern of the people involved in this so called project (kuno) is to "gain money." and that's also why many people are running for office because of this facts, many projects as long as the funds will come out. and how will this funds come out of the sack? create projects!

sakit na yan kahit saang sulok ng pilipinas. pero it is good to hear na there were people from our hometown na dedicated kahit na hindi nila masyadong makita ang buong "casts" kung pano naluto (naplano) na magawa ang project.

i think it is time for us to educate our fellow kalgaran-ons about these "behind the scene" people so that we will not be caught offguard. these behind the scene people are actually inside the municipality earing salary from the taxes of our kababayans. they were there doing double jobs and in fact they are not concerned about their salary as employee or as public servant but they are more concentrated on the projects na maluluto nila.

thanks and more power to you

THE SLIDE SHOW PICTURE LOOKS LIKE  THE WAR TORN IRAQ.

ANWAY, THERES NOT MUCH THAT WE CAN DO AT THIS TIME. WE  PUT THEM INTO POWER. WE CAN REMOVE THEM FROM POWER ALSO, IN MAY 14 IS THE JUDGEMENT DAY.

RUMORS HAS IT THAT ANLIE TABA HAS  BORROWED MONEY IN ANTICIPATION FOR THAT PROJECT, WHEN SHE AND HER GIRLFRIEND WENT TO AUSTRALIA FOR CHRISTMAS  IN DECEMBER, AND SHE BOUGHT HER A LOT OF PRESENTS. SO  ITS EITHER WE LIKE IT OR NOT THE PROJECT HAS TO BE IMPLEMENTED SOMEWAY, SOMEHOW, THE ''SOP'' MONEY HAS BEEN  SPENT ALREADY. I HAVE BEEN AWAY FROM OUR TOWN FOR 15 YEARS, BUT ANLIE AND HER GIRFRIEND IS MY NEIGHBOR IN CARIGARA.

IT AKON LA DERI NA GAD KITA UNTA BUMOTOS HIN USA NGA LIDER NGA DERI CARIGARAN-ON  AN KASING- KASING. KAY WARAY INE HIYA PAG-UGOP HITON ATON IG KASI CARIGARAN-ON. SUGAD SUGAD HIN WARAY NA GUD CARIGARAN-ON NGA QUALIFICADO MAGIN MAYOR? UNTA MAGIN LEKSYON INI NGA PANHITABO. NGA DERI BARUGON-ON AN MAG DUMARA HAN ATON BUNGTO.

BASICALLY, I'M NOT REALLY AFFECTED TO THIS CHANGES. I COULD CARE LESS. I'M NOT EVEN A CITIZEN OF THE  PHILIPPINES ANYMORE, BUT I WAS BORN AND RAISED IN THAT TOWN, I REMEMBER SELLING TANGKONG, GANAS, GAWAY, KAMWAY, PUL-O  IN THAT MERCADO. AND I KNOW EXACTLY, HOW THE LOCAL VENDORS FEEL ABOUT THIS, THIS IS TRULY  A  WANTON ABUSE OF POWER. OF WHOM WE ENTRUSTED THE POWER. PAGMATA KITA MGA KALGARAN-ON.

I was in Carigara to attend the Alumni Homecoming.  Because election was just around the corner after the alumni celebration, campaigning was the name of the game.  I read a text message sent to a friend of mine that was shown to me and it read like this:  "We will not accept defeat.  We will do everything to win -- vote buying, coercion, military intervention if needed, etc ........" signed from the mouth of Trinidad Apostol (mother of Anlie, a mayor candidate).

Now, Anlie was re-elected because money was just flying everywhere especially in the farms where ignorant people that love money were easily bought.  Of course, Anlie did not win in Carigara town proper.  She got her votes from voters that she bought from the farm and from another mayor contender that ran solely for her -- to destroy the 3rd candidate.  Do you think that money came from her own pocket?  Think again!

What is happening to our beloved country that from top official to the lowest in rank, vote-buying is now the current trend.  It's a fad.  It's the fashion that ignorant people tend to follow.  We are putting corrupt people in our government!  We are putting people to office that do not perform but just enrich themselves from the people's money?  The money that Trinidad Apostol and Anlie Apostol had used to buy votes did not come from their pockets?  I don't believe that they will use their salaries to buy votes.  If they rely on their salaries alone, the Apostols won't even be able to build a beautiful house in Boho, let alone the money used to pay voters ranging from 1,000 to 1,500 pesos!   Anlie cannot travel to Australia with her girlfriend with just a salary of a mayor.   Come on, think hard townsfolk of Carigara.

Carigaran-ons, why do you allow such a corrupt official to lead our town.  Her heart is not for Carigara.  She is from Barugo.  She could care less what would happen to Carigara.  The old market that she destroyed was more than enough to serve Carigara and it was still very sturdy and solidly strong.  But Anlie had to create a "project" para may pagkunan siya ng mabubulsang pera.  Anlie is so corrupt and a useless town official who knows nothing but steal people's money, yet the Carigaran-ons put her back to office.  Why?  Don't we have our own people from Carigara to run for office?  Is there a brain drain in Carigara na kumuha pa kayo ng walang brain?  Bakit nagpabili ang Carigaran-ons?  Bakit?

I would have considered projects such as:  (1) Build a college school in addition to HCCC;  (2) Improve our tourism industry to attract balikbayans and other people from other towns and provinces; (3) Construct lodging places;  (4) Construct a building where good restaurants, coffee shops, good eateries and gift shops can be installed so as to attract attendees of our yearly Alumni Homecoming.

Anlie can still steal money from the projects mentioned above but at least she would not have destroyed an existing, sturdy, solid concrete market that was affordable and flourishing.  Anlie has no brains, hence, she could not think what is good for Carigara.  Is that the kind of mayor that you want to install in Carigara?  I don't know what happened to Trinidad Apostol in her thinking.  She has turned a traitor to Carigaran-ons by letting her daughter run for mayor KNOWING PRETTY WELL that she is corrupt just like her.   Both are trying to enrich themselves.  Hindi naman nila madadala ang pera sa libingan.  They will leave them all behind them, yet their souls will suffer in hell.  Can they still live peacefully knowing that the whole town of Carigara is talking about their corrupt minds?  Sana naman ma-consentia ang mga Apostol.  Townsfolk of Carigara, think well and good.  You are the ones to suffer.
