Presentation of cheques to the recipients of Hamilton Filipino Community Center Calamity Relief Fund. The first recipient, the Leyte Association of Ontario in support of their project to provide housing to the mudslide victims of Guinsagoon, Leyte. The amount is $3000.00. Receiving the cheque are Mana Choling Covacha representing LAO and Fel Marpa a local Leyteno and member of HFCC Board.

 

The second recipient, the Worldwide Church of God, or Develop Asia Foundation Inc. The $3000.00 goes directly to trust fund paid directly to specific schools to help those identified displaced students who lost one or both parents in the disaster. The honorary recipients are: Fil and Goyliaw Santos, both members of HFCC. Thanks to all those who contributed to this humanitarian cause.

 

The after dinner buffet of Filipino delicacies is always appreciated by all. This has been the tradition of every Gala affair since its inception. Attendees look forward to this annual treat with a passion. To all the contributors we thank you for your dedication.
