Saint Valentine's Day Novena
You can make this Valentine's Day far more than flowers and sweets. Share the everlasting love of God, whose love does not
wilt or lose its delight Your loved ones need love of the truest kind. The love that lasts forever, the love that is Life
Itself, the love that delights forever.
We have an extraordinary example in Saint Valentine. As a 3rd century priest in Rome, Saint Valentine and fellow Catholics
lived in danger under the rule of Claudius IL who persecuted Christians. Saint Valentine sacrificed his life for the love
of God. He visited prisoners, spreading the Word of God to them, before he, himself, was imprisoned and martyred for his faith
As the Father has loved "Me", so I also love you. Remain in My love. I have told you this so that "My" own joy may be in yon
and your joy might be complete. - John 15:9:11 You can share the gift of faith with your loved ones, too! Jesus teaches us
that when we remain in His love, our joy will be complete.
As disciples, of Christ, we recognize that true love is rooted in God. Let us share the gift of God's love through prayers
offered during the Novena of Saint Valentine. I encourage you to send your loved ones "Valentines". Impart to them the real
love that God intends for us. Novena begins February 5th and ends on the 12th
I give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so you also should love one another. -
John 13.34

Gentlemen we have a large number of members and wife's in our sick list please take a minute to call and see how they are,
it would mean so much to get a call from an old friend.
If you have not come out to a meeting lately please try to make one again to renew old friends with a common interest in the
things you do.
Meetings have been fun and informative and we also have a nice hall that we all fit into with a small kitchen and washroom.
Please feel free to ask a Priest if he would like to be a Friar in the Forth Degree also inform Gene.
Colour commanders will be calling yon if you are on the list published in the last bulletin. To see if you "can or are able"
to come out on colour.
