One of the resolutions passed was the reclassification of members. The old system of paying one membership fee to a supporting
organization in which part of it was to be remitted to HFCC has been rescinded. We now consider all
Filipinos in the new city of Hamilton as member and only those who book the hall will pay a $15.00 annual membership fee and
be classified as bona fide member.
The second resolution passed was to increase the number of elected Board members from nine to eleven. There are now 23 members
in the Board, 11 elected and 12 representatives from supporting organizations.
There was no election held. As there were only 11 nominees, all are acclaimed.

Dr. Flordicante "Dodong" Cabilan
The untiring family physician of many. He came aboard the later part of 1990 and served as Chair of the Board since then.
He brings respect, credibility and enthusiasm to the Board. Aside from HFCC he is an active leader of Ato-Ato and SWAT clubs.

Ms. Naty Dayap
One of the original members of the committee that started the community centre drives in 1989. She brings in professionalism,
managerial experience and stability to the Board. It is a pleasure to have her back now that she has retired from her nursing
career. In the last 6 years she served as vice president. Aside from HFCC she is an active member ofAto-Ato club and UST Alumni
Association, Hamilton Chapter

Nunila Tallara
Past president of PICAH and served as Secretary of HFCC during the last term. Her untiring dedication to HFCC will still be
around to benefit HFCC

Ms. Della Labastida
She is one of the new members of the Board of Directors. Although she has been helping out regularly in our Bingo fund raising
in the last 3 years. She has now retired from her nursing profession and she says she'll have more time to help. An active
member of Ato-Ato club she will bring in humour and dedication to the HFCC Board.

Ms. Letty Sahr
She is now officially in the Board of Director. The last 2 years she served the Board as a volunteer basis when she took over
the responsibility of booking of HFCC hall and chairing the membership committee. She has full of energy and enthusiasm in
which it reflects on her involvement not only with HFCC but, with the Bowling League, PCA, UST Alumni Association of Hamilton
and the Community of Love movement.

Mrs. Josephine Monaco
One of the new faces in the Board of Director will certainly bring with her fresh ideas on how HFCC better serve and satisfy
the needs of our community. She is a strong proponent for a better and bigger facility. A mother of two, soon a grandma anytime
now, and a retired R.N. she will definitely be an asset to the new Board. One of her strengths is a strong support from her
husband, Joe. Josie enjoys bowling and also enjoys telecast sports, but she enjoys most watching golf.

Miss Anita "Nitz" Uy
One of the long serving volunteers to HFCC, PCA and PBA in which she came aboard in the most recent Board of Director. We
are glad that she is back for the next term. She brings in dependability, dedication and stability to the Board. She was voted
PCA Woman of the year and last millennium awardee for the qualities identified above. She is one of the tireless original
bingo volunteers that still find the task rewarding and a true Ato-Ato club member.

Boanerjes "Bonner" Villabroza
The founding president of the HFCC who is instrumental in bringing all the associations and clubs together in support of the
community centre. He will bring in, once again, his managerial expertise, planning and creation of vision for the advancement
of the Filipino community in the new city of Hamilton.

Mrs. Rosalia "Sally" Viquiera
Although she has been around in the community activities bringing with her the whole family, Sally, will be one of the fresh
bloods in HFCC Board of Director. She will bring with her new ideas, new perspective and new life. She is one of the teachers
in the Pilipino School and a Health Care Instructor/Trainer. The Club Novo Ecijanos of the new city of Hamilton voted her
family in as most outstanding family for the year 2000-01.
